My room was well-equipped and brand-new and had a very clean bed. The staff was genuinely helpful the entire time. Location: the hotel was right by Fenton Street which is very central.

Loved the unique design of the unit we occupied!
Unfortunately, the accommodations fell short of expectations. The hot water was inconsistent, taking hours to heat up, very inconvenient for our family. We experienced noise disturbances from long-term tenants below us. I was disappointed by the lack of thorough cleaning, with dust and cobwebs noticeable in the bathroom.

Tidy, clean, no-frills, sufficiently stocked kitchenette, spa unit in bathroom, owner was very friendly and helpful!
I was concerned about a sign hanging in the room stating that only the first 30mb of wi-fi data would be free and that there would be a charge for data usage thereafter. However, I think this was just an outdated sign; there was no mention of any charges when I checked out. Just fyi.

The room was spacious.
We had booked a family room as a couple ($110). The proprietor could not not understand this and 'laughed' at us for doing so. He put us in a studio room ($95) and then said he would have to pay Booked.net the diffference. Not impressed. We booked a family room because that is what we wanted!

Absolutely LOVED! A bit too quiet for my liking, but if thats your thing? Had ALL the basics for a perfect getaway, and definite value for money :)
Very quiet. A non-smoking property - would have been nice to have one.... Two silly reasons really

The cabana-style of the studios was very lovely. It was also very well-situated in Rotorua. Access to all of our activities was top-notch. Paul was also very friendly and extremely helpful with advice for places to eat and things to do about town.

Had everything I needed, self-contained in the room, for this trip at a good price
Don't like that type of milk in my coffee - just a taste preference
